Our Landscape Design Process
Initial Consultation
At the onset, our landscape architects/designers engage in an on-site or studio consultation to establish a landscape design brief. These consultations, typically lasting approximately 30 minutes, offer invaluable design advice, soil and planting recommendations, construction guidance, and more. Subsequently, based on this consultation, we provide a detailed design fee proposal outlining the discussed scope of work.
Sketch Design & Budget
Upon acceptance of the design fee proposal, we proceed to the Sketch Design stage. Here, we present a sketch of the proposed landscape along with visual representations and itemized budget considerations. This pivotal stage allows for refining both the design and budget to align precisely with the project objectives. Moreover, we ensure seamless transitions between the initial concept and the finalized budget.
Concept Design & Quotation
Building upon feedback received during the sketch design phase, we further develop the design with additional details and 3D perspectives. This comprehensive approach aims to provide a thorough understanding of the project and to finalize the budget into a lump sum fixed quotation. Moreover, if necessary, we also handle Planning Approvals during this phase. Additionally, we employ innovative techniques to streamline the quotation process, ensuring clarity and transparency.
Design Support
Throughout the construction phase, our designers offer ongoing support, meticulously preparing drawings for engineering and building licenses. This encompassing support includes detailed plans for planting, lighting, and irrigation, ensuring a seamless implementation of the design. Furthermore, we provide continuous updates and communication to facilitate a smooth transition from the conceptual phase to the construction phase.
Installation
Upon completion of the design phase, our experienced construction teams take charge, bringing the vision to life. With expertise in landscape construction and horticulture, our teams ensure the highest standard of workmanship. Furthermore, a dedicated construction supervisor oversees all aspects of the project, guaranteeing timely delivery and exceeding expectations. Additionally, we employ efficient project management techniques to ensure smooth transitions between different stages of the installation process.
